Fully automated production
The tape-to-film bond on our covering tape is held at a constant 3 mm and the neck is pleated so the film never curls back. Consistent thickness means no damage in use.

Film treatment
Our 9 μ construction film is anti-static treated to unfold easily. The 9.5 μ blue automotive film is static-cling and corona treated so it hugs the body and holds paint under high-pressure overspray.

Wide temperature range
Masking tape grades from -15 to 100 ℃, with heat, cold, UV and waterproof ratings and residue-free removal options.

Technical support and documents
We provide TDS for all 15 masking tape grades, and draw on 40 years of painting-site experience to advise on product selection and application methods.

Founded in 1986 as an adhesive-tape specialist, SMC imports and converts quality materials from around the world and manufactures covering tape, supporting the growth of the Korean painting industry.
Our facilities produce a wide range of products for domestic and overseas markets, and our export experience keeps quality first.

From sample test to shipment, this is how we work with importers and distributors.

Sample kit shipment
We ship the six recommended items: CP100, CP088G/R, CP094, SM-100, X-LINE 100 and the Gerson strainer.

Field test
After 2 to 4 weeks of use, we collect your feedback on adhesion, removal, heat resistance and UV resistance.

Quotation
Once items and quantities are confirmed, we quote FOB Busan or CIF your destination port.
04
First order
We confirm English labels and packaging and agree the shipping schedule.
